Godan verb (す)
許すゆるす
yurusu許す (ゆるす, yurusu) — to permit — is a godan verb ending in す: 許して (te-form), 許した (past), 許さない (negative), 許します (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to allow; to approve.
