Ichidan verb
連れるつれる
tsureru連れる (つれる, tsureru) — to take with one — is an ichidan verb: 連れて (te-form), 連れた (past), 連れない (negative), 連れます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to bring along; to go with.

Drop the る, then add the ending.
Nothing else moves: every ending attaches straight to the stem 連れ. That is what makes ichidan the easy class.

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
