Ichidan verb
取り替えるとりかえる
torikaeru取り替える (とりかえる, torikaeru) — to exchange — is an ichidan verb: 取り替えて (te-form), 取り替えた (past), 取り替えない (negative), 取り替えます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to swap; to barter.

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
