Ichidan verb
揃えるそろえる
soroeru揃える (そろえる, soroeru) — to collect — is an ichidan verb: 揃えて (te-form), 揃えた (past), 揃えない (negative), 揃えます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to gather; to get together.

Nothing else moves: every ending attaches straight to the stem 揃え. That is what makes ichidan the easy class.

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
