腐る (くさる, kusaru) — to rot — is a godan verb ending in る: 腐って (te-form), 腐った (past), 腐らない (negative), 腐ります (polite).

It also means to go bad; to decay.

Only the last kana changes: る becomes ら, り, れ or ろ.
