Godan verb (る)
凍るこおる
kooru凍る (こおる, kooru) — to freeze — is a godan verb ending in る: 凍って (te-form), 凍った (past), 凍らない (negative), 凍ります (polite).
It also means to become frozen; to freeze over.

Only the last kana changes: る becomes ら, り, れ or ろ.
