Godan verb (す)
汚すよごす
yogosu汚す (よごす, yogosu) — to pollute — is a godan verb ending in す: 汚して (te-form), 汚した (past), 汚さない (negative), 汚します (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to contaminate; to soil.

Only the last kana changes: す becomes さ, し, せ or そ.
Which one depends on the ending. The five are one line of the hiragana chart — same consonant, vowels あ・い・う・え・お — and everything before that kana never changes.
