Godan verb (む)
摘むつまむ
tsumamu摘む (つまむ, tsumamu) — to pinch — is a godan verb ending in む: つまんで (te-form), つまんだ (past), つままない (negative), つまみます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It is usually written in kana: つまむ rather than 摘む. It also means to hold; to pick up.

Only the last kana changes: む becomes ま, み, め or も.
Which one depends on the ending. The five are one line of the hiragana chart — same consonant, vowels あ・い・う・え・お — and everything before that kana never changes.
