Godan verb (る)
締め切るしめきる
shimekiru締め切る (しめきる, shimekiru) — to close up — is a godan verb ending in る: 締め切って (te-form), 締め切った (past), 締め切らない (negative), 締め切ります (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to shut up.
