Godan verb (う)
攫うさらう
sarau攫う (さらう, sarau) — to carry off — is a godan verb ending in う: さらって (te-form), さらった (past), さらわない (negative), さらいます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It is usually written in kana: さらう rather than 攫う. It also means to run away with; to sweep away.
