Ichidan verb
申し上げるもうしあげる
moushiageru申し上げる (もうしあげる, moushiageru) — to say — is an ichidan verb: 申し上げて (te-form), 申し上げた (past), 申し上げない (negative), 申し上げます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to tell; to state.

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
