持てる (もてる, moteru) — to be able to possess — is an ichidan verb: 持てて (te-form), 持てた (past), 持てない (negative), 持てます (polite).

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
