Godan verb (す)
施すほどこす
hodokosu施す (ほどこす, hodokosu) — to give — is a godan verb ending in す: 施して (te-form), 施した (past), 施さない (negative), 施します (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to donate.

Only the last kana changes: す becomes さ, し, せ or そ.
Which one depends on the ending. The five are one line of the hiragana chart — same consonant, vowels あ・い・う・え・お — and everything before that kana never changes.
