Godan verb (す)
冷やかすひやかす
hiyakasu冷やかす (ひやかす, hiyakasu) — to banter — is a godan verb ending in す: 冷やかして (te-form), 冷やかした (past), 冷やかさない (negative), 冷やかします (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to make fun of; to jeer at.
