遊ぶ (あそぶ, asobu) — to play — is a godan verb ending in ぶ: 遊んで (te-form), 遊んだ (past), 遊ばない (negative), 遊びます (polite).

It also means to enjoy oneself; to have a good time.

Only the last kana changes: ぶ becomes ば, び, べ or ぼ.
