飛ぶとぶ
tobu飛ぶ (とぶ, tobu) — to fly — is a godan verb ending in ぶ: 飛んで (te-form), 飛んだ (past), 飛ばない (negative), 飛びます (polite).

Only the last kana changes: ぶ becomes ば, び, べ or ぼ.

The て and た forms are the only two that don't follow this pattern. Every む-, ぶ- and ぬ-verb has the same んで there.
