Godan verb (ぶ)
喜ぶよろこぶ
yorokobu喜ぶ (よろこぶ, yorokobu) — to be delighted — is a godan verb ending in ぶ: 喜んで (te-form), 喜んだ (past), 喜ばない (negative), 喜びます (polite).
It also means to be glad; to be pleased.
How 喜ぶ conjugates · godan ぶ-verb
Only the last kana changes: ぶ becomes ば, び, べ or ぼ.
Which one depends on the ending. The five are one line of the hiragana chart — same consonant, vowels あ・い・う・え・お — and everything before that kana never changes.

The て and た forms are the only two that don't follow this pattern. Every む-, ぶ- and ぬ-verb has the same んで there.
