Godan verb (う)
味わうあじわう
ajiwau味わう (あじわう, ajiwau) — to taste — is a godan verb ending in う: 味わって (te-form), 味わった (past), 味わわない (negative), 味わいます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to savor; to savour.
