強まる (つよまる, tsuyomaru) — to get strong — is a godan verb ending in る: 強まって (te-form), 強まった (past), 強まらない (negative), 強まります (polite).

It also means to gain strength.

Only the last kana changes: る becomes ら, り, れ or ろ.
