付ける (つける, tsukeru) — to attach — is an ichidan verb: つけて (te-form), つけた (past), つけない (negative), つけます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It is usually written in kana: つける rather than 付ける. It also means to join; to connect.

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
