toritsugu取り次ぐ (とりつぐ, toritsugu) — to pass on — is a godan verb ending in ぐ: 取り次いで (te-form), 取り次いだ (past), 取り次がない (negative), 取り次ぎます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to convey; to transmit.

The て and た forms are the only two that don't follow this pattern. Every く- and ぐ-verb changes the same way there; only 行く is different.
