Godan verb (う)
躊躇うためらう
tamerau躊躇う (ためらう, tamerau) — to hesitate — is a godan verb ending in う: ためらって (te-form), ためらった (past), ためらわない (negative), ためらいます (polite).
It is usually written in kana: ためらう rather than 躊躇う. It also means to waver.
