乞うこう
kou乞う (こう, kou) — to beg — is a godan verb ending in う: 乞うて (te-form), 乞うた (past), 乞わない (negative), 乞います (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to ask; to request.

Regular everywhere; the う stays in the て and た forms.
An ordinary う-verb would have って and った here; this small class keeps an older うて and うた.
