Ichidan verb
認めるしたためる
shitatameru認める (したためる, shitatameru) — to write — is an ichidan verb: したためて (te-form), したためた (past), したためない (negative), したためます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It is usually written in kana: したためる rather than 認める. It also means to draw up; to take down.

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
