Ichidan verb
仕付けるしつける
shitsukeru仕付ける (しつける, shitsukeru) — to be used to — is an ichidan verb: しつけて (te-form), しつけた (past), しつけない (negative), しつけます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It is usually written in kana: しつける rather than 仕付ける. It also means to get accustomed to; to be in the habit of doing.

Drop the る, then add the ending.
Nothing else moves: every ending attaches straight to the stem しつけ. That is what makes ichidan the easy class.

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
