Ichidan verb
下げるさげる
sageru下げる (さげる, sageru) — to lower — is an ichidan verb: 下げて (te-form), 下げた (past), 下げない (negative), 下げます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to bring down; to reduce.

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
