落ち着くおちつく
ochitsuku落ち着く (おちつく, ochitsuku) — to calm down — is a godan verb ending in く: 落ち着いて (te-form), 落ち着いた (past), 落ち着かない (negative), 落ち着きます (polite).
It also means to compose oneself; to regain presence of mind.

Only the last kana changes: く becomes か, き, け or こ.
Which one depends on the ending. The five are one line of the hiragana chart — same consonant, vowels あ・い・う・え・お — and everything before that kana never changes.
