練る (ねる, neru) — to knead — is a godan verb ending in る: 練って (te-form), 練った (past), 練らない (negative), 練ります (polite).

It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to thicken into a paste.

How 練る conjugates · godan る-verb

Only the last kana changes: る becomes ら, り, れ or ろ.
