Godan verb (ぐ)
担ぐかつぐ
katsugu担ぐ (かつぐ, katsugu) — to shoulder — is a godan verb ending in ぐ: 担いで (te-form), 担いだ (past), 担がない (negative), 担ぎます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to carry on one's shoulder.
