Godan verb (る)

至るいたる

itaru

to arrive at (e.g. a decision) · N3

至る (いたる, itaru) — to arrive at — is a godan verb ending in る: 至って (te-form), 至った (past), 至らない (negative), 至ります (polite).

It also means to reach; to attain.

How 至る conjugates · godan る-verb

Only the last kana changes: る becomes ら, り, れ or ろ.

Which one depends on the ending. The five are one line of the hiragana chart — same consonant, vowels あ・い・う・え・お — and everything before that kana never changes.
