依る (よる, yoru) — to be due to — is a godan verb ending in る: よって (te-form), よった (past), よらない (negative), よります (polite).

It is usually written in kana: よる rather than 依る. It also means to be caused by.

Only the last kana changes: る becomes ら, り, れ or ろ.
