Godan verb (す)
探すさがす
sagasu探す (さがす, sagasu) — to search for — is a godan verb ending in す: 探して (te-form), 探した (past), 探さない (negative), 探します (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to look for; to hunt for.

Only the last kana changes: す becomes さ, し, せ or そ.
