可笑しいおかしい
okashii可笑しい (おかしい, okashii) — funny — is an い-adjective: おかしかった (past), おかしくない (negative), おかしくて (te-form), おかしいです (polite).
It is usually written in kana: おかしい rather than 可笑しい. It also means amusing; comical.

Drop the final い, then add the ending.
Every form is built on the stem おかし. The one that isn't: the polite present, which is the whole word plus です.

Every い-adjective works this way. The one exception is いい, which conjugates from its older form よい.
