夥しいおびただしい
obitadashii夥しい (おびただしい, obitadashii) — large number — is an い-adjective: おびただしかった (past), おびただしくない (negative), おびただしくて (te-form), おびただしいです (polite).
It is usually written in kana: おびただしい rather than 夥しい. It also means innumerable; great many.

Every い-adjective works this way. The one exception is いい, which conjugates from its older form よい.
