Godan verb (る)
籠もるこもる
komoru籠もる (こもる, komoru) — to shut oneself in — is a godan verb ending in る: こもって (te-form), こもった (past), こもらない (negative), こもります (polite).
It is usually written in kana: こもる rather than 籠もる. It also means to be confined in; to seclude oneself.

Only the last kana changes: る becomes ら, り, れ or ろ.
Which one depends on the ending. The five are one line of the hiragana chart — same consonant, vowels あ・い・う・え・お — and everything before that kana never changes.
