Ichidan verb
心得るこころえる
kokoroeru心得る (こころえる, kokoroeru) — to know — is an ichidan verb: 心得て (te-form), 心得た (past), 心得ない (negative), 心得ます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to understand; to be aware of.

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
