弱る (よわる, yowaru) — to weaken — is a godan verb ending in る: 弱って (te-form), 弱った (past), 弱らない (negative), 弱ります (polite).

It also means to grow weak; to wane.

Only the last kana changes: る becomes ら, り, れ or ろ.
