Godan verb (る)
繋がるつながる
tsunagaru繋がる (つながる, tsunagaru) — to be connected — is a godan verb ending in る: つながって (te-form), つながった (past), つながらない (negative), つながります (polite).
It is usually written in kana: つながる rather than 繋がる. It also means to be joined together; to be linked.
How つながる conjugates · godan る-verb
Only the last kana changes: る becomes ら, り, れ or ろ.
Which one depends on the ending. The five are one line of the hiragana chart — same consonant, vowels あ・い・う・え・お — and everything before that kana never changes.
