正しいただしい
tadashii正しい (ただしい, tadashii) — right — is an い-adjective: 正しかった (past), 正しくない (negative), 正しくて (te-form), 正しいです (polite).
It also means correct.
How 正しい conjugates · い-adjective
Drop the final い, then add the ending.
Every form is built on the stem 正し. The one that isn't: the polite present, which is the whole word plus です.

Every い-adjective works this way. The one exception is いい, which conjugates from its older form よい.
