素っ気ないそっけない
sokkenai素っ気ない (そっけない, sokkenai) — cold — is an い-adjective: そっけなかった (past), そっけなくない (negative), そっけなくて (te-form), そっけないです (polite).
It is usually written in kana: そっけない rather than 素っ気ない. It also means short; curt.

Every form is built on the stem そっけな. The one that isn't: the polite present, which is the whole word plus です.

Every い-adjective works this way. The one exception is いい, which conjugates from its older form よい.
