怠いだるい
darui怠い (だるい, darui) — sluggish — is an い-adjective: だるかった (past), だるくない (negative), だるくて (te-form), だるいです (polite).
It is usually written in kana: だるい rather than 怠い. It also means languid; listless.

Drop the final い, then add the ending.
Every form is built on the stem だる. The one that isn't: the polite present, which is the whole word plus です.
