悟る (さとる, satoru) — to sense — is a godan verb ending in る: 悟って (te-form), 悟った (past), 悟らない (negative), 悟ります (polite).

It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to perceive; to notice.

Only the last kana changes: る becomes ら, り, れ or ろ.
