Ichidan verb
重んじるおもんじる
omonjiru重んじる (おもんじる, omonjiru) — to respect — is an ichidan verb: 重んじて (te-form), 重んじた (past), 重んじない (negative), 重んじます (polite).
It is transitive: it takes a direct object. It also means to honor; to honour.

Nothing else moves: every ending attaches straight to the stem 重んじ. That is what makes ichidan the easy class.

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
