Godan verb (う)
間違うまちがう
machigau間違う (まちがう, machigau) — to be mistaken — is a godan verb ending in う: 間違って (te-form), 間違った (past), 間違わない (negative), 間違います (polite).
It also means to be incorrect; to be wrong.
