好ましいこのましい
konomashii好ましい (このましい, konomashii) — nice — is an い-adjective: 好ましかった (past), 好ましくない (negative), 好ましくて (te-form), 好ましいです (polite).
It also means likeable; desirable.
How 好ましい conjugates · い-adjective
Drop the final い, then add the ending.
Every form is built on the stem 好まし. The one that isn't: the polite present, which is the whole word plus です.

Every い-adjective works this way. The one exception is いい, which conjugates from its older form よい.
