kanjiru

How 感じる conjugates · ichidan verb

Drop the る, then add the ending.

Nothing else moves: every ending attaches straight to the stem 感じ. That is what makes ichidan the easy class.

感じる dropsstem + ending
感じない感じないnegative · I don't feel it. 感じます感じますpolite present 感じて感じてte-form · I feel something and … 感じた感じたpast · I felt it. 感じられる感じられるpotential · I can feel it. 感じれば感じればif · If I were to feel it, ... 感じよう感じようvolitional · Let's feel it.

No sound changes and no vowel rows. The catch is telling ichidan from godan: plenty of godan verbs end in る too.
