若いわかい
wakai若い (わかい, wakai) — young — is an い-adjective: 若かった (past), 若くない (negative), 若くて (te-form), 若いです (polite).
It also means youthful.
How 若い conjugates · い-adjective
Drop the final い, then add the ending.
Every form is built on the stem 若. The one that isn't: the polite present, which is the whole word plus です.
